Technology comes from the earth.
And it is also inscribed on surfaces.
On stones,
On metals,
On the skins,
On the lungs,
On neurons.
Geology, with its minerals and metals, forms the foundation of technological development. The deep time of stones enables the micro-temporalities of virtuality, intertwining duration with immediacy.
